Every single wool duvet inner is filled with pure New Zealand wool and cased in 100% cotton cambric, 290 thread count, so the fill stays evenly distributed and the cover keeps its shape through repeated washing. Wool fibres move moisture away from the body as you sleep, giving the duvet its steady warmth rather than a stuffy or damp feel by morning. The cotton casing is treated with Sanitized® Mintactiv, a peppermint-derived finish that guards against dust mites and odour, and the wool itself is Buy NZ Made certified, with every duvet inner backed by a five-year guarantee on workmanship and quality.
The range spans a 150gsm summer weight, a 350gsm autumn weight and a 500gsm winter weight, plus a Four Seasons duvet that combines the autumn and summer layers together for a warmer combined option. A single 500gsm winter duvet weighs around 2.4kg, giving it noticeable substance without weighing you down.
Yes. Wash on a gentle or wool cycle at a maximum of 40°C, then dry naturally or on a low tumble setting. Avoid top loaders and hot water, since heat and agitation can permanently affect the wool fibres.
A faint natural wool scent is normal when a wool duvet first arrives. Most customers find that it is not unpleasant, fading with airing and settling further after the first wash.
The 150gsm summer weight suits warmer rooms and hot sleepers, the 350gsm autumn weight covers milder months, and the 500gsm winter weight is built for cold nights. If you would rather not switch duvets throughout the year, the Four Seasons option combines the autumn and summer layers.
No. We also carry single alpaca wool duvets, single duck down duvets, and single goose down duvets for a lighter, loftier feel, plus a matching wool pillow if you are outfitting the whole bed. Contact our team for help if you are unsure which fill suits your room.
